I am so sorry to hear of Siiri's passing. I will remember her for our choir practices and her sweet disposition. She was a "nature lady" who loved to pick raspberries and other berries and eat them until, in her words, her mouth began to break out. Her physical vigor was remarkable. I love the thought of her being in the Lord's arms, all tears wiped away. But perhaps she is also walking with the Lord through a wonderful garden full of fresh berries.

I remember Siiri working in the Co-op Store. I also remember she and Pete coming to my Aunt Shirley and Uncle Duane's house to visit while we were there. I remember the rag rugs. In fact I have a couple of them! She and Jeanne Hansen:sleepy: sang right behind me in the church choir. I remember Jeanne saying that she and Siiri had sung so much next to each other that one would lick her finger and the other one would turn the page! :joy:. Both such special ladies whose passing has left a hole in our community that no one can fill. My sympathy to her family.

So sad to hear of Siiri's passing. She was a kind yet strong person who always looked on the positive side of things. I remember watching her dance when there was music at the Villa Vista and thinking I would like to be like her at that age!

It was great to go to the Co-op and see Siiri at the checkout. I remember her getting me vinegar from a big barrel in the back room during canning season. When Christmas time came I would watch her bag up bulk hard candies. Her homemade rugs are still protecting the hardwood floors at my home in Saint Paul. She will be remembered with fondness. My sincere sympathy to all who love her and were loved by her. There are no Cromwellians she has not touched in some way.

Julie, the kids and I have so many memories of our time together. Berries and ice cream, walleye dinners, cleaning crappies, and after we moved they camped in our yard by the lake. Siiri is in the living arms of our Savior. We look forward to joyful reunions.

This is a shock to me! We have missed so much in fellowship because of the pandemic! Siri was a lady of love and kindness. We all loved having her in Bethany Choir. She said that she looked forward to Wednesday night practices. She was a strong alto. If I ever had a question about a Finnish word, I would ask her and she would have the answer, plus pronouncing it correctly! Siri shared a lot of her memories when I talked to her, usually when she was never late for anything on her schedule. I know that she will feel peace and love in the Savior 's arms. Prayers :skin-tone-2: for Siri's family and all who loved her. In Christ's love. Mary Dahlman

I have so many special memories of Siiri, but mostly I will remember her for her kindness, her refined sense of humor, and her class. God bless you, dear friend. My condolences to Rod and Ann and to the Petersons.
