Please accept our condolences. We were neighbors of Barb's down the road. We didn't know her real well but She always greeted us with with a smile and wave or she would stop just to chat while we were walking on the road. She was always such a friendly person to us. Last summer our son Garrett raced Barb on her motorcycle and him on his pedal bike to her mailbox. Of course Barb let him win, but he still talks about how fast he was to beat Barb on her motorcycle. We will miss having Barb as a neighbor and are saddened with her passing. ~ Bryan & Sarah Blom and Kids

The kindness and authenticity of Barb's life is truly an inspiration and a comfort. She helped so many people. She was always a welcome partner at dance events, and helped many learn their steps. She led by example that it was ok to color outside the lines a bit in terms of societal expectations. She will be greatly missed but also greatly appreciated and remembered by all those she touched with her generous and understanding spirit.

Barb, the heavy heart will never go away. You were just the finest gal in our extended families and to reach out as you did, was the most inspiring to me. It was so great getting to know you all over again when doing the genealogy for your family and I will be forever grateful for every laugh and every memory we shared.
We will keep every moment we shared in our hearts and know this is probably the hardest blow any family can have is to lose someone sooooooooooo special...
We miss you and will always love you. Rita and family

Barb participated in many Cowboy Fast Draw events, and she will be missed by all of the Yellow River Bandits. We will always remember her quick and easy smile, her true friendliness, and her love of the sport. It is a tragic thing to say goodbye to someone so young.

I am at a loss as to what to say. Just such sad news. I grew up next door to Barb and her family. I feel Barb, Connie and I were best buddies growing up. We did everything best fiends did as small kids up to high school. So many good memories. My condolences to her friends and family. May she rest in peace. God bless.

Barb will never be forgotten. She's was such a giving, loving person. So full of life and compassion. She helped me out so many times at the Lakehead Harvest Show. May God comfort those left behind.

Even though I only knew her for a very short time we became good friends and riding buddies. I had the opportunity to take these photos of her on one of our rides. I've always loved riding alone until I met Barb. I will miss the rides, lunches and talks. Our last ride together on Sept 6th we stopped in Pine City for lunch and I found a $20 bill on the ground. She insisted I not spend it on her lunch but I did anyway!
