Obituary of William Robert Langley

William Robert Langley “Bill”, 74, of Duluth passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022 in his home. He was born on August 23, 1948 in Mellen, Wisconsin to Earl and Helen Langley.  He was raised in Mellen, Wisconsin and attended school there until First grade.  He then moved to Silver Bay, graduating from Kelly High School in 1966.

Bill was a member of the National Honor Society and an All Conference Defensive Back in Football.  He became a teacher in the Wrenshall public schools.

Bill was also an avid softball player and played for many years for "Zups" in Silver Bay.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen; father, Earl; and older brother, Richard.

Bill is survived by his brothers, Tom (Charlotte) and Jim; as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.

A graveside service will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery in Highbridge, Wisconsin on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.   Arrangements entrusted to Atkins Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet, MN.
